LO version is 4.2.6.3 downloaded with Ubuntu 14.04LTS during distribution
upgrade. On attempting to edit a presentation containing sound files the screen
also greys-out as if the programme is struggling for up to 20 seconds before
selecting the slide to be edited.
Never had this problem with any previous version of LO or Open Office running
on the same - or other - machines.
