--- Comment #12 from ign_christian <ign_christ...@yahoo.com> --- (In reply to Joey Reid from comment #10) > IGN, > I think you're on the wrong track. If you open TXTBK Quiz 1.12.doc in LO 4.1 > or AOO, put the cursor on the ÷ symbol, you'll see the font change to > "Symbol". If you do the same in LO 4.2+, the font stays Times New Roman. > We're not dealing with the standard Unicode/ASCII ÷ symbol. Just rechecked & saw Times New Roman with AOO 4.1.1 portable, LO 4.1.6.2 portable, LO 4.0.6.2 under Win7 x86. Wondering why we saw different results? > OneDrive, Word2010, Word2013, and Writer 4.2+ all show the symbol. Unless > someone can show otherwise, I'd say that the current behavior is correct. > It's possible that this file was created with Kingsoft Writer, old > OpenOffice, or some other app that exports to a non-standard DOC format. Btw maybe you're right. This report should be closed if not clear which app used to create the file. I just curious why results looks inconsistent & different among us (incl. reporter). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
