Bug ID: 85578 Summary: libreoffice slow to respond when gvfsd running Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.2.6.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: BASIC Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: martyjw...@gmail.com Since I have upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 (and kept up to date as updates are pushed out), libreoffice (calc and writer, Build ID: 420m0(Build:3)) has become barely responsive (every 10 seconds or so) from time to time if I have a gvfsd mounted file system. As soon as I unmount the remote file system, libreoffice is back to its chipper, responsive self. If I remount a remote filesystem, libreoffice freezes back up. The most recent time I tried to unmount the remote filesystem with libreoffice open (on a local file), gvfsd crashed. Then, I remounted the remote file system and libreoffice was almost normally responsive--perhaps a quarter of a second or less delay to mouse clicks and the like, but there was still a humanly noticable delay. The files I have open are found on the local hard drive, so at least on the surface, libreoffice is not using the mounted remote file system. I have tried a clean user profile. That seems to help for a while, but then the problem re-asserts itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
