This has already been fixed in 4.3.4.2, 4.4beta1 and 4.5 master.
Bibisecting the fix in 44alpha2only points to the range of
source-hash-e23806fb815f7e419bb04de11dcb5707c4120eaa - based on the commits in
this range, it's quite likely that the fix in question was:
