confirmed bug on Windows 7 64-bit running LibO 3.5.0rc3 (Build ID:
7e68ba2-a744ebf-1f241b7-c506db1-7d53735)
The same issue afflicts the "Basic Fonts (Asian)" option.
In addition, although clicking the buttons "default" and "revert" will change
it back to display correctly, just selecting different options to configure
does not cause the display to revert.

[7] Click LibreOffice Writer > Basic Fonts (Asian)
[repeat steps 4-6 to cause the display bug]
[9] swap between "Basic Fonts (Western)" and (Asian) and the bug will continue
to manifest itself in the display.
Clicking OK or Cancel will not change the values (meaning that it's only a
dropdown list display bug?) - confirm by re-opening the options dialog.
