This was auto closed but I myself was about to request this exact feature. I
just spent a few hours writting an essay based on a revised version I
downloaded from gmail. I was lucky and checked realized the version was wrong
and my work was in /tmp but if I had not gone to rename the file I likely would
have lost hours of work.
