I can understand that people who are running Mac OS 10.8+ have no incentive to fix this bug, but that does not resolve it for users of 10.6 and 10.7, for who it is a serious deal breaker. So I took this bug mainly because nobody else will. I am currently trying to manually source-bisect the bug, but this is going very slow (each build takes 5 to 8 hours and I often run into build errors). If I succeed to pinpoint the offensive code, I will probably ask experienced Mac OS X developers to comment on what may be wrong with it. If nobody is available within the LO community itself, I was planning on asking on a Mac OS X developer forum or something.
