            Bug ID: 91268
Summary: I cannot update page numbers so they start greater
than one then increment each page.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.2.8.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: iced...@yahoo.com

When FORMATTING a HEADER with a PAGE NUMBER, it always starts at 1.
I'm using "Insert - Fields - Page Number."
"Format - Paragraph - Text flow" only works in the main body NOT in the header.
Double clicking on the page number and editing offset makes the numbers go
backward.

I've been all over the help menus. How can I start a chapter on a page number
that can be greater than 1 and have it automatically increment each page
thereafter. I'm writing a book with chapters such that each chapter is an
individual file.

I've recently switched from Microsoft Word 2000. It had no problem such as
this in Word.
