I disagree. If you want try betas you need to do that in real life situations.
So you need to install the software as if it was a stable release. Betas are
provided as LibreOfficeDev to not interfere with your current stable
LibreOffice installation.
For those who do not want install new packages, it is very easy to build
LibreOffice from sources.
Closing as WontFix.
