            Bug ID: 92514
Summary: "Do you want to save" alert when closing table with
focus in a record does not save, endless loop.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.4.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: jimrussell98...@gmail.com

Libre Office 4.4.3.2

When closing a Table in Base, if the cursor focus is in an existing record,
instead of closing the app asks whether you'd like to save a record, because it
has been changed. Replying OK leads right back to the same place. In order to
successfully exit, user needs to reposition cursor to new (unoccupied) record
row.

It behaves as if putting the cursor in an occupied row marks the record as
opened (accurately) and changed (or perhaps these states are combined), whether
or not there has actually been any change. Then, even though the cursor isn't
moved, the row remains locked.

This may be strictly to spec, but from the user point of view, when the app
asks you whether you'd like to save before exiting and you reply yes, just
going ahead with both a save and an unlock row operation and then exiting would
be preferable, IMHO.
