I was unable to remove this page break, even with the Windows version.
You should provide clearer explanations.

Anyway, I have 3 observations:
- even if there is a way to remove it, each time I update the table, the page
break would appear again.
- even if I copy the whole document into a "new" one, the issue is
unsurprisingly still there
- if I edit the table of contents and remove the title, the page break
disappears; that's a good lead for any bug solver.

This issue is very easy to reproduce and converting a .docx document is not
uncommon.
