thanks for filing the issue!
You mean the Layouts, where you choose Title, Title/contents, etc?
I do see them in 5.0.0.5 on Ubuntu 31 bits.
I have Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View ..
Hardware acceleration - Checked
Use anti aliasing - Checked
Use OpenGL for all rendering - Unchecked
Force OpenGL even if .. - Unchecked
Do those settings make any difference for you?
