            Bug ID: 94086
Summary: LO 5 seems to be getting worse
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: rob...@iafrica.com

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:40.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.0.1.2

Not sure what is going on, but it is now difficult to do anything in LO without
crashing.
Calc, Writer files seem to save fine (I get no errors), but when I open the
file again it asks me if I want to recover.
The Save dialog now looks like the OO version and not the LO 4 version.
In Impress, if I draw an oval, when I want to make the line thicker, Impress
crashes. If I use the dialog box - which, btw, says the line thickness is 0.00
(how can that be, since I clearly have an oval) then changing the numerical
does not crash.
Is it just me, or is there a deeper issue?

I have been doing updates via PPA and Synaptic - I am not confident to do it in
any other way.

I recently (within last 2 weeks), removed all of LO using Synaptic, then
reinstalled using Synaptic - could this be the reason for these issues?

Is there any tool that can scan an LO document and check for inconsistencies?

How do I know if I create a template using LO 5 that the template created does
not have any issues in it, which I then pass on to new documents like a virus?

Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon

Reproducible: Always
