What I'm suggesting is an option to see a transparent "Application Background". In other words, the document and toolbars (whichever) would still be visible (unlike with the Win7 transparency button). If the *application background* were transparent, I could maximize Libre Office and, as I wrote before, have (in effect) something like focus writer.
