Bug #: 49287 Summary: Cannot configure printers on LO 3.5.2.2 Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: x86-64 (AMD64) OS/Version: FreeBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: mels...@earthlink.net After installing LO 3.5.2.2 from the FreeBSD ports tree, I find (1) that LO does not detect or provide a default printer and (2) that attempting to add/configure printers via spadmin results in an error report saying that printers cannot be added because the filesystem is read-only. Note that there is NO indication of what filesystem is involved. This behavior is a complete departure from previous versions of LO, in which I could configure printers with absurd ease. If this is the result of a change to REQUIRING cups, then I suggest this is a major error on the part of the project and needs to be rectified - cups if fine in its place, but it's not necessary or desirable in many circumstances. Short story: I want LO to perform as it did previously and for it to use the lpd/lpr system already installed and in use by all other applications on my system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
