image with its caption (no special function used) hidden, incorrectly, under it

Hello

Sorry for opening another report, but it seems like a bug to me.
HW is AMD Kabini Athlon 5350, SW Gentoo Linux 4.2.x, freedom GPU driver stack.

Seemed to happen since v5.x; never occured (at least not to my notice) in v4.x.
Attached is one (of many) examples.

What I did:
I placed pictures in the text of my PhD thesis, that currently consists of ~30
single files (one file for each chapter). That makes also a good bunch of
images.
Under each picture I put a little line of text with a caption like "Img. 85:
Showing the reaction of Na and Cl2."

Since v5 a lot (not all) pictures suddenly have "eaten" the line that directly
follows them.

When I change the "Umlauf" (text flow around the picture) it reappears, then I
set back to no text flow (if the picture is so large that a text flow around it
would not make sense) and it stays.
Until I save and reopen the file. The kind of text flow does not seem to
matter, it always swallows that line on re-opening / reloading a file.
Changing text flow just seems to "re-set" the picture correctly, so the line is
visible again and does not hide under the picture.

Since this affects A LOT of pictures in my theses this is more than a nuisance.
Currently I workaround by placing an empty line inbetween but that sometimes
looks ugly.

Sorry for not finding better terms to describe the problem.
