Bug #: 49390 Summary: Regression: Table Formatting Not Used On New Text Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: drich...@largo.com This is very easy to replicate and is a serious regression from OpenOffice 3.3. Create a 5x5 table and then highlight one whole column and select "Number Format" and "Currency" (available from the right mouse click). In OpenOffice 3.3 if you click into the first row of that column and type in "100" and then down arrow it converts it into $100.00. All edits are handled in this same way. In LibreOffice 3.5.2 if you type in "100" and hit down arrow it stays as "100". This created a lot of extra work for users, because they have to continually hand format text each time that it's changed. The desired formatting is physically stored in the table cell, it's just not used when editing. Only able to test on Linux. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
