Bug ID: 96651 Summary: Background Image Can be Arranged Forward Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: harald.koes...@mail.de In order to reproduce: [1] Create a new text document. [2] Insert an image as background: (a) Insert > Image… (b) Chose an image on your system which covers a greater area of a page. (c) Context menu of image: Wrap > In Background. [3] Create a rectangle with some text above the background. The area of the rectangle is blue and covers the background image. [4] Arrange the background image one level forward: (a) Click into background. The background is selected. (b) Context menu: Arrange > Bring Forward. The rectangle is still displayed above the background image. [5] Try to change the rectangle. You neither can't select the text nor the rectangle itself. Hence a change is not possible. For a user this may be quite irritating. For me it seemed that according the display the background image is still in the background and according the selection the image is above the rectangle. To my opinion it should not be possible to arrange a background forward. That means at step 4b the item “Arrange” should not displayed or should be greyed if a background image is selected. [6] You can revert the behaviour if you send the background one level back. Afterwards the rectangle can be changed again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
