It sounds like some weird glitch in the install.
Maybe try this:

You could also update to version 5.0.4, which is now pretty stable.
4.4 will not receive new updates in any case.
Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED
WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
