Can confirm described behaviour.
Windows 10 Pro, Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.36)

Placing the cursor where the hidden paragraph is and pressing Ctrl+A places the
cursor into the header. When "View -> Hidden Paragraphs" is toggled and the
paragraph visible, it selects the paragraph as expected. When text is entered
into line 2 when the paragraph is hidden, the newly added text is not selected,
instead the cursor goes back to the header.
Set to MINOR because it doesn't stop anyone from selecting per click+drag.
