Hello, and thank you for reporting this issue.
I've been looking into it and can't seem to reproduce it. With "background," Do
you mean the Chart Wall or the Chart Area? The chart wall is the the part that
has the gradient in the first chart.
Additionally, could you please try if renaming your user profile < see:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile > from "user" to "user-backup"
or so fixes the issue?
