             Bug #: 49783
Summary: FILESAVE: Hang during file save when Mac has problem
                    with unrelated network share
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.4.4 release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: david.laza...@mfn-berlin.de

Problem description: n.b. this seems partially related to Bug 42952 but also
has differences. Working with spreadsheet, attempt to save file for first time,
save dialog open when Mac finder apparently has problem with Mac to Mac
peer-peer share on same network. Finder 'having problem with <share name>
message appears and one enters unbreakable loop - can click it away but it
comes back and can't continue or cancel LO save dialog. Can switch to finder,
terminate share message loop there but LO is hung, must force quit. Restarting
LO gives message personal prefs are locked, suggests not continuing. Quit,
restart Mac, LO recovers ok from autosaved copy. Can't reproduce this as no
idea why transient network share problem occurred (could be someone tripped
over a cable...).

n.b. - LO prefs says I'm using Mac dialogs
