Bug ID: 97622 Summary: Excessive space between adjacent Hebrew-letter-Hebrew-digit sequence Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.5.1 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: eyal...@technion.ac.il Reproduction: 1. Create a new document 2. Set your input language to Hebrew 3. Type a Hebrew letter (say, Aleph: א) 4. Type a digit (say, 2) 5. Press Enter 6. Set your language to English 7. Type the sequence "a2" Result: There's a lot of space between the Aleph and the 2, while the a and the 2 have almost no space between them. This is surely incorrect behavior; it is also not what users expect from other apps, be it MS Word or even variable-space simple-text editors (gedit, kwrite, kate, leafpad, etc. etc.) Notes: - That this happens essentially regardless of the chose Hebrew font, or at least for ~10 fonts I tried. - I've experienced this at least as early as 4.x , probably earlier, I just don't remember since I did not heavily use LO/OO earlier than that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
