It seems to happen random times (I estimate it happens around once per 10 or 20 pastes), and I have experienced the behaviour in both writer and calc. It has been happening across multiple versions of LibreOffice - each time I upgrade I hope that the incredibly basic process of cut paste will be fixed, but no :(. I see what looks like the same behavior as previously described by Anrey. The application becomes un-responsive (on ALL open libre office windows), with spinning circle. The pasted contents has always from within libre-office for me. I have left this for several minutes, but it does not recover - I have to use task manager to kill libre office. I am running windows 7 home premium 64-bit SP1, EN. Ram is 4GB.
