I really do not understand such a choice, yes this is "cosmetic" in a sense, but is such a blatant UI overlooking that I can imagine people that are not already keen on LO being so negatively impressed by such a pervasive omission of something that anybody would give for granted and consolidated in a circa 1998 application.... I myself will be have to make up an effort to avoid to my students any contact with 5.1.0.3 in the next few weeks, or risk having them deride the program... I am sorry for the harsh words, but IMHO there is no new functionality or betterment that would justify overlooking such an evident regression. I have been for example involved in a lengthy and of very little use tormented discussion on new "save" icons, a fraction of the energy put there would have been I think much better spent fixing THIS at once.
