Bug ID: 98704 Summary: formula lost after saving to Microsoft Powerpoint pptx file Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.1.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dpars...@emerall.com Created attachment 123622 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=123622&action=edit trival example, odp file I add equation formulas to a presentation document in OpenOffice Impress and save as pptx ("Microsoft Powerpoint 2007-2013 XML"). When I then open the pptx file in OpenOffice, the formula is lost, blank. The box for the formula is still there, I can find it by pressing tab. But it is empty and it cannot be edited. I am attaching a trivial example with a new default presentation (no template), adding one formula (just to the right of the text "Formula:"), y=x^2. I saved the document from LibreOffice first as odp, and then saved as pptx. Microsoft Office 2010 (14.0.6023.1000 32 bit) can read both the odp and the pptx file with some success. Office says both are damaged and tries to repair them. It shows the odp properly formatted after repairing. Office shows the pptx file after repairing, but misrenders the formula as y =x^2 instead of y=x^2 But LibreOffice does not show the formula in the pptx file at all. (It reads the odp file fine, of course) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
