Bug ID: 99565 Summary: EDITING Changing slide background misbehaves with non-default master slide Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: katarina.behr...@cib.de I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature. If it is a feature, at the very least Impress behaves in pretty unexpected way here 1. Open Impress, go to master slides sidebar deck 2. Pick some master slide with white or transparent background (e.g. DNA) 3. Format > Page > Background, pick some colour, or gradient. confirm with OK => Nothing happens ... eh well, something happens, but not what one would expect. => The background eventually changes, but not on the currently selected (master) slide, but on the default master slide (you can see the preview of it in one of the sidebar panels -- 'Used in this presentation' one) What I'd expect instead is either one of: 1. background of current slide changes or 2. user is somehow notified that it is not possible to change the background of this slide (e.g. the background tab would not be there). No way it should modify the properties of unrelated master slide( by 'unrelated' I mean not used for the slide we're currently editing) I can see the same behaviour in 4.3.7, but haven't tried anything older, so reluctant to mark this as 'inherited from OOo' -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
