Unfortunately I'm not so deeply involved in QA to tell you the best work-flow.
On the one hand it is good to get lot of example files, on the other hand it is
needed to isolate a problem as far as possible. Perhaps you can ask on
libreoffice...@lists.freedesktop.org?
