Bug ID: 100771
Summary: Multiple selections are not handled properly
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0.6.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: antonone+li...@gmail.com
In Writer, multiple selections are not handled properly.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open LibreOffice Writer,
2) Write "test1 test2 test3 test(4) test5"
3) Hold Ctrl key, and while holding Ctrl key, double-click 'test1', and later
'test(4)'. After doubleclicking 'test(4)', only 'test' part of this word should
be selected and that's OK,
4) Still while holding Ctrl, hold Shift and click right arrow on the keyboard
(so, hit ctrl+shift+right arrow) to extend the last selection to '(4)'
5) Selection corruption will appear. Writer will loose previous selections
prior to pressing right arrow. You can verify it by making the text bold, or
making it italic (Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I).
