             Bug #: 50673
Summary: serial letters: FORMATTING (1) and PRINTING/# of page
                    output (2)
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.4 release
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: atar...@freenet.de

(Sorry for any misspellings ;-() Just ran into a normal to severe formatting
problem under LO354 while using a spreadsheet table for serial letter writing.

1. During preparation of about 40 addressees in 40 one-page serial letters, the
first line of the footer (actually containing 5 lines of text, positioned and
separated by tabs) changes it's first tab position (about 0.5-1.0 cm to the
right), therby resulting in an ugly layout in relation to the other lines,
which must be corrected manually (for the 40 pages it was feasable, but it
should be corrected to work better, i.e. automatically, for bigger workloads
;-( )

2. The number of pages printed were double the number of data rows, resulting
in an empty white printout (Xerox Phaser 6280/W7Ult.(32-bit)). (Couldn't find
any mistake in my printers config or page layout, therefore I charge LO to be
the cause (?) - BTW: this issue was already present in predecessors to 3.5.).
On the screen no blank pages were to be seen.

Regards,
ataraxs
