Bug ID: 101436
Summary: Session-breaker Bug when clicking on 'Styles and
Formatting' button.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rodolfo.i...@gmail.com
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/45.0
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.2.0.4
I tried this with the LO applications that I use the most, being:
LO Writer
LO Impress
LO Calc
And I can confirm that, after performing an update today (August 10), when
clicking on the button described as 'Styles and Formatting', this triggers a
bug that closes all applications and force-kicks the user out of their session.
Also it's worth pointing out this bug did not happen prior to updating today.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open any application from LO Suite (Writer, Impress or Calc);
2.Click on the button to the right described as 'Styles and Formatting';
3.The latest update released on August 10 triggers a bug that closes all
applications and force-kicks the user out of their session.
Actual Results:
After the bug takes place, the system (Linux Mint 17.3 32-bit) shows the login
screen, asking for a user and password.as if I had logged out of my session.
Expected Results:
Before performing the update released today (August 10), clicking on the
'Styles and Formatting' button actually displayed Formatting options.
