Bug #: 50878 Summary: : error when saving if automatcik backup enabled Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.4 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: dafr...@gmail.com Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. enable 'always create backup copy' under tools->options->load/save->general 2. save an existing document after editing Current behavior: error message (see screenshot) and document not saved. Expected behavior: save document and backup copy Platform (if different from the browser): Ubuntu 12.04, 64bit. Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 I found the cause of this error: The default directory for backups listed under tools->options->LibreOffice-> paths (/home/MYUSERNAME/.config/libreoffice/3/user/backup) did not exist. Manually creating the backup directory solved the problem. I would expect this direcotry to be created automatically either on install or on the first attempt to save a backup document. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
