As I said, there is no way to limit Libre Office to displaying one page of an
*.odt at a time.
Let me clarify. You can change via menu View - Zoom - and change to single page
for the present document only. The change is not persistent.
If you open another document, or close Libre Office then open another document
later Libre Office defaults back to the multiple pages.
The default setting "automatic" shows multiple pages and there is no way to
disable it permanently that I can find through the menus.
If this is intentional and not a bug, it's poor design. I have two eyes and
wear trifocals. Bobbing my head back and forth and up and down all day long
makes for a very uncomfortable experience.
