Ok. I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't get to do it all of a
sudden. Then it hit me. I had started working with .doc files and recently
changed to .odt format.
I opened a .doc file and was able to cause it to happen. So the problem has to
do with the .doc format.
I am attaching a screenshot of two documents side by side, set to Web View
before disabling Edit Mode in each.
