Bug ID: 104484
Summary: When you had a new file, Libre Office calls it
untitled instead of taking the first line of text like
MS Word used to
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.1.6.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: bugrepor...@gmail.com
Description:
When you had a new file, Libre Office calls it untitled instead of taking the
first line of text like MS Word used to. Instead it wants to title the file
Untitled.
This means a super lot of extra clicking.
I request that LibreOffice instead use the first line of a file as a first
guess, or have some way of making it do that as a second guess, i.e. by using
an up arrow or down arrow or other arrow key for example.
Actual Results:
titles the file Untitled
Expected Results:
I would like it if there were a way to make it take the first line of text from
the file as the file name or at least the first five words.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: yes
Additional Info:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/50.0
