When you compress the .svg images, they become ~80kB jpg, so the problem is
solved, probably because you get rid of the big/complex images, not because it
was with .svg specifically. At least, that is my impression.
Also, if you scroll up and down repeatedly at 50% zoom in the "2. Big jpg
images" file, you will also notice the issue, and there are no .svg images
there. And if you add more big pics (>1MB) to that file (.jpg, .png...), and/or
decrease the zoom level, the problem becomes worst.
