We aren’t going to try to cram a unusable desktop UI into a pocket-sized
touchscreen. We’re instead developing a new UI, but as always, we have limited
manpower to do it quicker. We would welcome patches if you’re an Android
hacker. See

branded as a viewer as editing is not ready, and it’s also missing
