The problem is fixed, can use Impress and Draw as normal.

Here is still an interesting phenomenon:
In Impress, if a word is misspelt, and I right-click it to correct it from the
dictionary, Impress freezes. Only option seems to be to close, then it asks me
if I want to wait or not. I did a couple of times. In the period, CPU
utilization remains 0% throughout. I then have to abort. Not sure if this is a
different problem.
