The image attached shows you have opened the PDF into Writer not Draw, try
resetting your file association--or open from within an open Draw session.
Also, 4.3.3.2 is a very old build, it will not receive any dev effort, please
update to a more current 5.2 or 5.3 release build and test again.
Note also that at 5.3 you are now able to insert PDF as an image format in
addition to opening into Draw.
