What's missing is the ability to easily switch Writer, Calc and Impress from
using the ODF formats to the MSO formats and back again. A general format
switch would be useful both for me and also for others.

Besides, what if you set up a Windows user with LibreOffice and they don't know
how to switch file types? Wouldn't it be easier for new user to be able to just
flip a switch or for you to be able to quickly flip that switch for them when
you're getting them started? Or would you prefer to talk them through that over
the phone or have to switch over three different formats right in front of
them? What might that make them think about FOSS? It very well could make them
think that it takes too much configuration to be usable by people who are not
as interested in FOSS as us?
