Bug ID: 113348
Summary: Error writing content.xml when converting a line's
point to curve
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.4.2.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: m...@lights0123.com
Description:
Saving a document (including autosave) fails with the error "saving the
document WhateverItIsCalled:
Write Error.
Error in writing sub-document content.xml." This happens after converting a
point in a line to a curve. This does not happen when drawing a curve in the
first place, only a line.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new LibreOffice Writer document
2. Click the button "Show Draw Functions"
3. Click the "Insert Line" button
4. Draw a random line somewhere on the page
5. Click the "Points" button (has a picture of a polygon with a point
highlighted with a pencil over it)
6. Select a point on the line (this works even with a new point that is
created)
7. Click "Convert To Curve", "Smooth Transition", or "Symmetric Transition"
8. Save the document.
Actual Results:
When saving, the error "saving the document WhateverItIsCalled:
Write Error.
Error in writing sub-document content.xml." is shown. LibreOffice behaves as
expected (shows the line correctly, doesn't crash) until the document is saved.
Expected Results:
The document should save without errors.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
