            Bug ID: 119183
Summary: Japanese fonts have huge space above and selecting
such text scrolls the page up.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.1.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice

huge space above

It seems that Japanese text has huge space above (about 50% of the font
height). The problem is, if I scroll down the page so that the space is not
visible (see Capture2.png) and try to select the text, the document
automatically scrolls up to show the space and the whole upper page margin.

To be fair, this also happens even if the text is English, but in case of
English, the upper space is not that huge so the problem is not that obvious.

I think it is not necessary to scroll the page just because the empty space
above or a minute upper portion of the text is not visible. Too much scrolling
breaks text selecting, because I clicked the left part of the text to select
the text, but after the auto-scroll, the mouse caret no longer is above the
text but on the upper page margin, so draggin to the right does nothing.
