Bug #: 54421 Summary: EDITING: Desktop effects turn off on Ubuntu 10 when using dynamic fields in document Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.4 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: fra_enr...@yahoo.it Problem description: When I am writing a document, and I use a reference manager such as Zotero, or Mendeley, I make use of dynamic fields (the ones highlighted in grey in the text) which contain the reference to be automatically updated. When dynamic fields are present in the document, the desktop effects on Linux Ubuntu 10 suddenly turn off, and the system goes on basic apperance settings. Steps to reproduce: 1. Using the Linux Ubuntu 10.04 environment and LibreOffice 3.5.4 2. Turn on advanced visual effects 2. Writing a document containing dynamic fields 3. Visual effects turn off, and the system goes back to basic appearance settings 4. This happens with both Mendeley, Zotero and native dynamic fields in Writer Current behavior: Expected behavior: The use of dynamic fields should not interfere with the appearance settings of the system Platform (if different from the browser): Linux Ubuntu 10.04 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
