The issue (for me at least) seems similar to Bug 112930.
A comment there says, "my crash linked with JRE. If disable option "Use a Java
runtime environment" in Tools>Options>LibreOffice>Advanced, then LO works OK"
That's the same for me - if I disable option "Use a Java runtime environment",
then LO does not crash.
This bug may also be a duplicate of Bug 108619.
Perhaps the original reporter could check if disabling using Java has the same
effect (prevents crash).
