As this feature-request is now 2 years old, is there any hope it will be
implement any time soon?
Without being able to preview the next animation, Impress is almost unusable
for giving presentations with the presenter console, as virtually every
presentation nowadays uses animations to organize a slide. Without being able
to see what's coming up next, the presenter is blind.
