Antidote does not work either on MacOS with the LibreOffice from the Mac App
Store, from Caligra. I guess that any sandboxed App won't allow the permissions
Antidote needs.
As far as I know, Antidote does not work either with the Snap version (Ubuntu.)
With the regular LibreOffice, on MacOS Mojave, you need to allow Antidote to
have full disk access, in the System Preferences, in order for Antidote to work
properly. (Disabling SIP in MacOS might be a work around, but not recommended.)

Do you have the latest Antidote 10 that was just out today? It might work
better...
