Another or an additional solution to my first proposal may be an item in the submenu "Insert": "Paragraph above section/table/index". In order to insert a paragraph e.g above a table, you should proceed as follows: [1] Position the cursor somewhere into the table. [2] Menu: Insert > Paragraph above table.
