These messages may or may not be related: Do you have an idea where those
invalid values like "en-AU-large" etc. come from? They don't happen to be used
in my setup. Can you attach the output of the "env" command?

Otherwise, as you mentioned in comment 5 that this may be related to the locale
setup: Can you also reproduce this if you try with a system/user that uses
en-US locale (if you have the chance to test this)?
Or can you explain how to set up a system from scratch in which this can be
reproduced (or even provide a VM or sth else)?
