This was a "newly created" master / subsequent documents. The reason I filed
the bug with the attached documents was because I had the problem in a
different newly created master and associated document, so I tried it again and
created these two files and was able to reproduce the issue.
If you're asking me to try yet again to create a new new master document and
subsequent document with an image, I'm happy to do so, and I can try to follow
your steps instead.
What were the settings on the image that you used? Perhaps this is an issue
with page anchoring versus character anchoring versus something else?
