Having exactly same problem (libreoffice 6.2 and older, not happened in 6.1).
It also happens with abs <?> function or the left lline <?> right rline
equivelent (not happens only with lline <?> rline) on a matrix or other big
element is uncorrectly rendered as the bug description says. Uploading a sample
document with more examples.
